First Quarter Reflection

As a grade 10 student this first quarter has been a journey of growth and discovery. I’ve discovered the software pioneers Eric Bina the co-founder of Mosaic, Marc Andreessen and Tim Berners-Lee best known as the inventor of World Wide Web. I’ve learned also the importance of time management and prioritizing tasks effectively and I’ve discovered various study techniques that resonate with my learning style.

However, first quarter was not without its challenges, I've faced many challenges throughout the quarter. Like, difficulties in balancing my time in my academic and extracurricular activity. I often found myself struggling with a lack of focus, which made it difficult to stay on top of my responsibilities. Another one is high expectations from my family, coaches, and even myself. Managing stress and mental health has been tough, especially with the pressure of meeting academic deadlines and adapting to new learning environments.

To address this challenges, I implemented to structured schedule that allowed me to allocate specific time slots for studying and leisure. Practicing mindfulness and taking breaks helped me manage stress and maintain a positive mindset throughout the quarter. I plan to set clearer goals for myself and stay committed to my study routine.

Moving forward will continue to refine my time management skills and remain proactive in seeking help when needed, I remain resilient and focused on my academic journey.
