New year New me

As the New Year begins, I find myself reflecting on my journey as a badminton player and setting new goals for the year ahead. The mantra “New Year, New Me” inspires me to elevate my game and embrace personal growth. This year, I am determined to focus on improving my technique, dedicating time each week to practice my footwork and shot accuracy. By attending training sessions and utilizing online resources, I aim to refine my skills and become a more strategic player on the court. Draft 1 CHRISTMAS VACATION

Christmas vacation is a time for celebration, but for me as a badminton player, it’s also an opportunity to refine my skills and stay active. With school on break, I dedicated my time to training, focusing on improving my footwork and shot accuracy. The local badminton court became my second home, where I practiced drills and played matches with friends. The thrill of hitting the shuttlecock and the sound of it connecting with my racket filled me with joy, making every practice session feel rewarding. During the holiday season, I joined a badminton training camp that brought together players of all levels. It was an amazing experience to learn from experienced coaches who provided valuable insights and techniques. The camaraderie among the players made the training sessions even more enjoyable. We pushed each other to improve, and the friendly matches we played helped strengthen our skills while also building lasting friendships. Those moments on the court reminded me of the importance...

Thematic Second Quarter

The struggle for women's rights is far from over. While significant progress has been made, ongoing advocacy is essential to address the challenges that women face today. Achieving gender equality requires the collective effort of individuals, communities, and governments to challenge discriminatory practices, promote women's empowerment, and ensure that all women can live free from violence and inequality. By standing together in solidarity, we can create a world where women's rights are recognized as human rights, and where every woman has the opportunity to thrive.   Republic Act 9262 is a crucial step towards safeguarding the rights of women and children in the Philippines. By addressing violence in all its forms and providing protective measures and support services, the law aims to create a safer environment for the most vulnerable members of society. However, for RA 9262 to be truly effective, it requires the collective effort of the government, communities, and in...

Second Quarter Reflection

This quarter was all about growth! I deepened my understanding of encoding, moving beyond the basics to explore its practical applications in web development and data science.     The blogging process itself was a learning experience, teaching me valuable skills in communication and information synthesis.   The biggest hurdle was balancing technical accuracy with reader engagement.    Making complex concepts accessible to a non-technical audience required a lot of creative thinking and careful word choice.   How I Solved Them: I tackled this by using analogies, real-world examples, and a conversational writing style.    I also experimented with different blog post structures to find what worked best for conveying information clearly.   I want to continue improving my ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. I'll explore different writing styles and techniques to make my blog posts even more engaging and informative. I also pla...

Climate Change and Resiliency of Filipinos

Climate change is an undeniable reality that poses significant challenges to the lives and livelihoods of Filipinos. The Philippines, being an archipelago, is particularly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change, such as rising sea levels, increased frequency of typhoons, and prolonged droughts. These environmental changes not only threaten the natural landscape but also adversely affect the living conditions of many Filipinos, especially those in low-lying and rural areas. One of the predominant reasons for the sudden or progressive changes in our environment is the increasing levels of greenhouse gas emissions, primarily due to industrialization, deforestation, and urbanization. The rapid expansion of cities and the conversion of forests into agricultural land have led to significant habitat loss and increased carbon footprints. Additionally, the Philippines' geographical location makes it susceptible to extreme weather events, which have become more intense and unpredictab...
